Kenneth: Choose leaders by evaluation

02 March 2013, 18:52James Kabotia

Kenya National Congress presidential flag bearer Peter Kenneth made forays to Jubilee stronghold areas in Nyeri and Lakipia county with a message to residents to weigh leaders and choose those who can deliver in the Monday general election.

Speaking during stop overs in Nyeri town Kenneth said that residents of the two counties should not be driven by political wave but instead choose their leaders wisely by evaluation them on the basis of their development record.

''I know many of you watched the last presidential debate ... please evaluate us and make the choice of the best among we the eight contenders ... please do not follow political wave blindly,'' said Kenneth.

He said that he is the most suitable candidate to lead the nation to prosperity as depicted by his development track record in his Gatanga constituency where he was the best mp in utilization of constituency development fund.

'' Most of you are aware of my development record in Gatanga what you need to give me is a chance to lead this nation and I believe we can develop Kenya in a short time '' implored Kenneth.

He said that he is ready to follow in the footstep of president Mwai Kibaki whom he said has set standards for development which should not be brought down by leaders who cannot match him.
