Ken Wamaria releases Swahili version of Lupita song

08 June 2014, 18:29 Eugene Odanga

Nairobi - Musician Ken Wamaria has released a Swahili version of his song dedicated to Oscar winning actress Lupita Nyong'o.

Not only is Ken the biggest cultural star to come out in the music scene, and one of the most listened to artists in the country, but he is also versatile with his music.

He has just released a new version of his latest hit track titled ‘LupitaNyongo’, which was a dedication to the Kenyan star causing waves in Hollywood right now.

The remix of this track has been done in Kiswahili.

According to his producers, Ken decided to do a Swahili version of the song so that its reach could be expanded, and that more people could understand the praise he was giving to Lupita for her stunning performance in representing Kenya and the region.

The track can be found exclusively on Mdundo.com for free and is set to take over the airwaves very soon.
