Ken Wamaria on quail eggs

Nairobi - Ken Wamaria, the biggest cultural music star in the country right now, has shown us his mettle again and why he is the best at what he does with his latest release titled Matumbi Ma Quail.
To any Kenyan who was in the country during the quail boom, the title needs no introduction. For those of you who weren’t, the title means “Quail Eggs”, which has been a topic of ridicule in the social media circles after the quail pyramid bubble burst and left people with hundreds of small almost worthless birds and their eggs.
In the video description, Ken says, “In 2013 Kenyans went viral on Social Media platforms and everywhere people were talking about Quail Eggs and in line with that I decided to compose a song about the significance of Quail Eggs.”
Though the video isn’t the official release, it gives us a pretty good example of what is to come in the official video with Ken’s characteristic rural setting and dancers in the background.
The track itself is captivating to say the least and is set to take over from the Fundamental fever that rocked the country just a few months back.
