Nyahururu - Owners of lodgings in Nyandarua have been asked to keep particulars of their clients to enable police to track suspects in case of killings and other criminal acts.
Nyandarua North OCPD, Morris Assila has warned owners in Nyahururu to always keep details of all people who board rooms in their premises.
Assila said that owners of lodgings would be held responsible for killings that occur in their premises if they don’t produce particulars of the suspected clients.
His sentiments came after Susan Wanjiku Njuguna, 29, was found murdered in one of the rooms of a local lodging Saturday night.

The OCPD added that police were finding it difficult to track down her killer as she had booked the room with an unknown man.
Maina location chief in the outskirts of Nyahururu town confirmed that the late Wanjiku resided in the sprawling Maina village.
The body is lying at the Nyahururu District Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
