Presidential hopeful and Gichugu member of Parliament Martha Karua has called on the church to support leaders with integrity in the forth coming coming general elections.
Speaking at Nyahururu PCEA church where he attended the church service, Karua said that Kenya needs leaders with high integrity to fight for the rights of the common mwananchi.
She added that Kenyans should carefully vet the leaders they will elect in order to establish whether they have the required qualifications and if they will have the interests of the citizens when they get to leadership positions.
Karua was commended for rejecting the MPs plot to increase their KES 2.1 Billion send off package and standing her ground as a true and dedicated leader to serve the mwananchi.
