Karua ready to work with CORD

Nairobi - NARC Kenya leader Martha Karua says that she is ready to work with opposition parties which have the right agenda, signalling a potential link up with the CORD coalition.
Karua says that she believes that anyone in the opposition seeking to change the current leadership structures in the country which she describes as rotten will be of benefit to the country.
" I am ready to work with any opposition leaders who have the right agenda for the country and that is seeking change in the way the country is run and operates," she said on a local television talk show.
Karua has in recent times leant towards the CORD coalition seen by her support for the Okoa Kenya Referendum initiative but she has often steered clear of declaring her intentions.
Is she does indeed work with CORD, it will make for interesting reading as in the past, she was a tough opponent of the coalition and CORD leader Raila Odinga.
" Kenya needs leadership that is sober and forward thinking and not feuding and fighting which does not bear any fruits," she added.
Karua has also previously stated that she is looking to run for the 2017 General Elections, even though she is yet to officially confirm her stance.
Karua finished a far fetched fifth in the 2013 General Elections and immediately after the polls she said she would take a back set from active politics to re-assess her options.
