Kalonzo going for 2017 presidency

Nairobi - CORD Co-Principal Kalonzo Musyoka says he is going for the presidency in the 2017 General Elections.
Kalonzo was speaking on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport JKIA from China where he had attended a business summit.
He said that his focus now was on the elections in 2017 and that he would not bother with other issues until then.
" My focus is on the 2017 elections. Other issues are sideshows and none of my business," he said Thursday.
He was reacting to a question on the continued move by Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua to garner troops in-order to have an assault at the Ukambani leadership.
He termed it as political sideshows and tribal shenanigans.
" I have no time for such talk. I am steady and looking nationally," he stated.
Kalonzo will need to see off the challenge of current CORD leader Raila Odinga and fellow co- Principal Moses Wetangula if he is to get his hands on the presidency.
