Kabogo defends Uhuru in Ruto fixing claims

Nairobi - Kiambu Governor William Kabogo says that the claims that President Uhuru Kenyatta helped fix Deputy President William Ruto at the Hague based ICC court are false.
Kabogo defended Uhuru, saying that he had nothing to do with the move, as accused by members of the opposition led by CORD leader Raila Odinga.
He stated that there was no way Uhuru fixed Ruto as he was also accused of crimes by the ICC.
" How could a person accused by the same court go round and fix his fellow accused? That makes no sense at all," he said Saturday.
Kabogo accused opposition chiefs of spreading the lies in-order to frame Uhuru for the matter even though it was they who knew what went on.
" Some of those opposition leaders know what happened and the truth will come out one day. What we want to stress is that Uhuru had nothing to do with it," he added.
Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has accused opposition chiefs of plotting to fix witnesses in the case which he is accused of playing a part in the 2008 Post Election Violence.
Opposition chiefs have however retorted that it is Uhuru that knows what happened and must state the truth.
Kuria has already been grilled by detectives from the ICC over the matter.
