Kabogo comes out in defence of Waititu

Kiambu - Kiambu Governor, William Kabogo has asked critics of his newly sworn arch-rival, Ferdinand Waititu who recently won the JAP nomination for the Kabete by-election, to shut up.
In his surprising statement which seemingly drums up support for the former Embakasi MP, Kabogo said that Waititu, just like all the other candidates, deserves a fair chance in the polls.
Kabogo however cautioned Waititu that he should not fly on the wave of being a fierce critic of the Governor because he will be judged by the Kabete electorate on how well he delivers on his promises, should he be elected in the by-elections.

Shortly after capturing his nomination, Waititu had made a public statement that he will be challenging Kabogo in the Kiambu Gubernatorial seat in 2017.
“The people of Kiambu will play their cards with regards to the work you have done for them and whether you will have fulfilled your manifestos and the promises you are making now,” Kabogo said.
Speaking in Juja Town, Kabogo further warned Waititu and other Kiambu leaders against seeking cheap political mileage by negatively invoking his name in public.
