Nairobi - Mukurweini MP Kabando wa Kabando has denied reports that he assaulted Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter within parliament precincts on Wednesday evening.
Kabando said he never had a scuffle with the outspoken URP MP.
"Notorious social media propagandists spreading lies about a scuffle with my friend Alfred Keter,” Kabando stated.
He was reacting to allegations that he was roughed up by MPs affiliated to United Republican Party (URP) at the Parliamentary cafeteria after assaulting Keter who had allegedly told him that President Uhuru Kenyatta fixed his deputy William Ruto at the ICC.
"Who is this desperate to sponsor such sluggish tweets? Wah! Friends, ignore loafers and charlatans,” said an irritated Kabando who is a member of Uhuru’s party, The National Alliance (TNA).
"I was in Parliament from 10am to 4pm prosecuting various official tasks," he added.
"There's only one Kabando wa Kabando in the whole world (except Bukina Faso President Kafado wa Kafado!) who wasn't anywhere near CBD, leave alone parliament 5pm to involve or witness alleged ugly incident,” Kabando said in a statement.
