KUPPET and residents of Bumula are planning a demonstration to stop area M.P Hon Bifwoli Wakoli from threatening school heads in Bumula.
Speaking to KNA in his office, KUPPET executive secretary Bungoma South Mr. Augustine Luketelo said Hon Bifwoli has been threatening school heads accusing them of poor administration and performance.
Mr. Luketelo said the legislator collaborated with the D.E.O, Bumula , to organize a meeting with teachers only to intimidate them by accusing them for embezzling school funds, the area Mp also threatened the teachers that they may lose their jobs if found responsible of the malpractice.
He also wanted the area Mp to stop using D.E.O’s office to call for meeting with teachers and has nothing important to discuss with them, saying that the school heads have the capacities of managing their responsive schools and that’s why they were assigned the duty by their employer (TSC).
Mr. Luketelo faulted the member of parliament‘s accusations that they were misusing the schools funds saying that auditors had been sent to various schools for auditing and no claims was found concerning the misappropriations as alleged by the member of parliament, adding that the area member is trying to play politics and warned him to stop emerging politics with education.
