KNH, Woolworths partner for World Cancer Awareness Month

Nairobi - The Kenyatta Hospital has partnered with Woolworths to create awareness on breast health during the World Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October.
The hospital announced that clinical breast exams will be carried out by its nurses at selected Woolworths stores for three Saturdays starting from 4th October 2014, and then on the 11th and 18th October.
Eight Woolworths stores are participating in the awareness campaign, six in Nairobi, one in Mombasa and one in Kisumu City.

They are: Yaya Centre, Sarit Centre, Galleria Mall, TRM Mall, Village Market, Junction Mall, City Mall in Mombasa, and West End Mall in Kisumu.
“The breast screenings and the bra campaign are free and they are expected to run from 10am to 5pm,” KNH said in a statement.
The hospital urged Kenyans to raise awareness together for early detection of the disease.
