Nairobi - The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education KCSE results will be released next week.
The Kenya National Examinations Council KNEC announced Tuesday that the results will be released March 4, 2014 at Mtihani House in Nairobi.
Education Secretary Jacob Kaimenyi will be the chief guest as the results of over 400,000 students that sat for the exams are released.
" The 2013 KCSE results will be released to students, parents, schools and the general public Tuesday 4 March 2014, a statement from KNEC read.
The body also went on to state the mode of receiving the exam results by saying students will receive their results by sending the student's index number to 22253.
KNEC also confirmed that those whose results have been cancelled will be notified through writing to state the reasons for the action taken.
" All whose results will be cancelled or withheld for whatever reason will be informed so and of the reasons why in writing.
It is expected just like in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education KCPE results, that incidences of cheating will rise, with a huge number of cases reported during exam time.
Kaimenyi will be expected to state the government's stand on cheating and address ways of dealing with the vice, which has been rampant in recent years.
