KAA signs CBA with workers’ union

Nairobi - The Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) signed a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with the Kenya Aviation Workers Union (KAWU) on Wednesday.
According to the CBA, salaries of KAA employees in grades 1-4 will be increased by 18%, 9% in 2014 and 9% in 2015.
KAA Managing Director Lucy Mbugua was grateful that the CBA negotiations were successful.
“The agreement only goes to show our commitment to ensuring that a highly motivated staff executes KAA’s vision and mission.
“We endeavor to provide a good work environment and consciously enact strategies to create a culture of employee motivation,” Mbugua said.
