Nairobi - Café Ubuntu has grown to become one of the
most instantly recognizable names in the spoken word, poetry and music scene
for its unique, inspired and talented event, Fireplace.
It features some of the
best talents from across Africa, showcasing their music, poetry and spoken word
in what has become a must attend event. The monthly event has touched the
hearts and minds of the hundreds who show up for a mind blowing experience.
This month, it is set to host one of
Kenya’s biggest lyrical talents in the form of Julius Owino, better known by
his stage name Juliani. He is regarded as one of the most inspiring artists to
come from Kenya due to his music and his background in Gospel music.
have touched thousands of youth across East Africa, and
on the 21st, he will be at it again.
The event kicks off at 6 pm, and goes all
the way till dawn, promising not only the best from the entertainment and arts
world, but also good food, drinks and company.
The event will be at the Cafe UBUNTU
CTC centre in Mai Mahiu rift valley area of Kenya.
