Jubilee will be our vehicle in 2017, says Ruto

Nairobi - Deputy President William Ruto has said President Uhuru Kenyatta will seek re-election on a Jubilee ticket in 2017 polls.
The DP said they will soon decide whether it will be Jubilee Alliance Party, Jubilee Party or Jubilee Alliance.
“Jubilee is our vehicle in 2017, whether it is Jubilee Party, Jubilee Alliance or Jubilee Party Alliance. We will finally agree on one as members and this will be announced at the national delegates’ conference,” Ruto said.
He said they are determined to work on an alliance that will unite all Kenyans and end ethnic divisions.

“We worked on this alliance against the odds because many people never believed that it would be possible to unite communities that had not worked together for many years, but we did it,” Ruto said.
He said they already have a game plan for the 2017 elections as opposed to their competitors, who he said don’t even know the party they will use.
“Sometimes our competitors argue with us, yet we are set. We know our presidential candidate and party come 2017. Our competitors have no clue about this and I don’t see them heading close to what we are doing,” the DP said.
