Jubilee using Kuria confessions as strategy for 2017

Nairobi - Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria’s confession that he fixed Deputy President William Ruto at the International Criminal Court (ICC) is Jubilee’s strategy of winning votes in Rift Valley come 2017, an MP has said.
According to Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa, it was skeptical for Kuria to make such revelations days after URP leaders in Jubilee claimed that their counterparts in TNA were not helping Ruto get out of ICC.
“Kuria’s confession is Jubilee’s timing for 2017 polls especially in Rift Valley. Some leaders in TNA saw that there was going to be a discord between Ruto and President Uhuru Kenyatta after ICC closed his case, and used Kuria to ensure that they don’t lose Rift Valley votes come 2017,” Wamalwa said.

According to Wamalwa, Jubilee leaders should be pushing Kuria to apologize to the DP for fixing him at the ICC, and leave Cord leader Raila Odinga alone.
“Raila does not need to apologize to anyone because he has nothing to do with the cases facing Ruto and Sang. Surely, how could Odinga fix Ruto yet they were in the same party in 2007?” Wamalwa posed.
Wamalwa revealed that he was among the MPs who had signed a petition by Pokot South MP David Pkosing to the Assembly of State Parties(ASP) and United Nations(UN) on ICC case Ruto and Sang’.
“Cord has no problem with the withdrawal of the cases against Ruto and Sang’; that’s why I signed the petition. What we want is the truth to come out,” Wamalwa said.
