Kalonzo not intersted in joining Jubilee

Nairobi - The Jubilee coalition is not interested in taking on board Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
There has been talk of the Jubilee coalition looking to take advantage of the discord within the CORD coalition and swinging in the party into its fold for the 2017 elections.
With the CORD coalition flailing, there has been talk that the ruling Jubilee coalition will waltz in and take over Wiper, but Wiper chairman Davis Musila says that the possibility of that happening is next to zero.
" I heard the story and dismissed it over the weekend and it remains the same," he told News24 on phone.
" We are in CORD to stay and any other stories are off the mark," he added.
There has been talk of the Wiper Party falling apart due to the pressure created by Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua who has been creating waves in the region due to his dissent of Ukambani region political leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
Musila says that there is nothing much to talk about as regards Mutua.
" He is doing what he feels is right and no one will stop him. Only the people matter and they will decide what's best," he added.
Mutua has begun a movement in the region to cure them of what he describes as poverty of the mind.
" People are tired of poverty and want solutions to the problems that they face, not political rhetoric," he says.
It is expected that Mutua will run for the 2017 Gubernatorial seat on a different party after his well documented falling out with Kalonzo.
