Joining JAP will be political suicide, Moi tells Kalenjins

Nakuru - Rongai Member of Parliament, Raymond Moi has told the Kalenjin community not to be fooled into joining the newly formed Jubilee Alliance Party (JAP).
Moi said that JAP does not belong to kalenjins because they were not involved in its formation.
Speaking Tuesday in his constituency when he hosted KANU officials, Moi said that joining JAP is like committing political suicide.
He reminded them of a similar mistake they made in 2007 when they ditched KANU for ODM.

"Our political problems began in 2007 when we were tricked and told that ODM was our savoiur. We were rendered irrelevant politically because we took the wrong move and I want to warn you that if we make the same mistake this time round, it will be hard for us to recover," said Moi.
He said that kalenjins will only be able to rule the nation again if they unite under one party that has formidable structures like KANU.
"Since its formation, URP and TNA have never held elections for its officials and they are dissolving to join something else. We will only be able to rule his nation if we go back to our house and revive it because KANU is a party with structures," he said.
