Nakuru - Nakuru West Member of Parliament, Samuel Arama, has lauded President Uhuru Kenyatta's move to suspend the six Judicial Service Commissioners saying it was in line with the Constitution.
“There is nothing wrong with the President suspending the six Commissioners because he has to fight corruption at all levels of the Judiciary," he said.
Speaking on Monday evening in Nakuru town, Arama said that those criticizing the Head of State should stop misleading the public on the matters of fighting grafts.
The legislator also hit out at his CORD leaders, Raila Odinga and Kalanzo Musyoka, saying that it was high time they gave the Jubilee government space and time to work.
He challenged the CORD leaders to support the government of the day instead of politicising every decision they make.
“Kalonzo and Raila should stop criticizing the President. In fact, they should support what the President is doing for this country,” said Arama.
He said that the two opposition leaders could be still bitter for losing the elections, but noted that the political season was over.
The MP said that Kenyans have nothing to worry about since the suspended officers will resume work once investigations are over.
He also defended the appointment Aaron Ringera to spearhead the investigations saying he has the needed skills to probe the Commissioners.
He said that leaders should support the Ringera tribunal in unearthing the truth on the charges leveled against the six commissioners.
