Is Kevoh Yout quitting gospel music?

Nairobi - Famed Gospel rapper and singer Kevoh Yout seems to be moving
away from gospel music.
This became apparent through his latest release titled
“Murdah”. The song as the name suggests is not gospel in any way, but a more
secular dancehall track.
According to the artist himself, he has decided to
diversify in his music saying that he does not see why he has to restrict
himself just to one genre.
He apparently then went on to claim that his
relationship with God doesn’t necessarily have to always be through his music
as he has had desires to sing about other things too.
He said that his
relationship with God has not changed, only that it is more personal now.
This new track, though it might not go down well with
Kevoh’s traditional fan base who have come to over him for his Gospel music, is
very well done.
The track talks about a girl that the artist liked at some
point, and will definitely become a hit in the dancehall scene.
