Intricate Fusion to release debut album

Nairobi - Just from the name that they go by, one can tell that the
kind of music they make is meant for the soul.
This new jazz band is set to
rock the scene with their debut album called “The Love and Hymns Project”.
According to the band’s director Daniel Akoyi, this is going to be single-handedly one of the best jazz albums to be released by Kenyans this year.
The group broke through the scene with their first
collaborative release called “Haiya”, which was performed alongside singer
Julia Raymonds. The track and video reached out to all the fans of jazz and
Kenyan pop with its unique style and powerful lyrics backed up by brilliant
sound quality from the band.
Their album is set to be released on Sunday June 29 2014 at the Brookhouse Schools from 2pm. It will feature artists like
Arona and Ian Mbugua among others and is suitable for fans of all ages.
The album will be a dual disk set with one section dedicated
to love and the other to hymns.
