Instagram set to launch new messaging feature

Nairobi - Instagram the world renowned
photo-sharing application is set to introduce a new private messaging feature
on its platform before the end of the year. Instagram, whose parent company is
Facebook, says the new feature will come as a Christmas gift for its users.
It is unclear
what the messaging function will look like, but one could imagine a user might
be able to share photos directly with certain friends or groups without needing
to post to his/ her public feed.

which has a reported 150 million users already allows users to comment and
tag others in their post descriptions.
