AFC Lepards are now six points clear of second placed Chemelil Sugar after their weekend’s 2-1 win over Thika United at the Thika Municipal Stadium. Coupled with Sofapaka’s loss, the Leopards are now firmly in control of the league.
Leopards won away in Thika courtesy of goals from Mike Barasa and Victor Ochieng’ with Moses Arita scoring Thika’s. Goir Mahia got their first win after 8 matches with a 1-0 win over Sofapaka. Salim Rama scored the all important goal via the penalty spot to send K’ogalo to 11th in the league with ten points.

Defending Chamions Tusker FC were shocked with a 2-2 draw by Mathare after letting off a halftime 2-0 lead. Ken Wendo and Paul Were had given the brewers a perfect start but second half goals courtesy of headers from Andrew Tololwa and capain Antony KImani who was returning from injury gifted Mathare the valuable point.
City Stars failed to utilize their home advantage and were held off to a barren draw by Ulinzi Stars. Chemelil moved to second in the log after beating visiting KCB 1-0 at the Chemelil Complex.

Western Stima were also in rampant form white washing Oserian 3-0 at the Bukhungu Stadium.
In other results, Muhoroni Youth beat Sony Sugar 1-0 while Karuturi Sports and Rangers FC fought off to a goalless draw at the City Stadium.
