I&M bank opens branch in Nyeri

Nyeri - The I&M Bank has opened a new branch in Nyeri town, the first in the Central region.
The 23rd branch in Kenya has unique services and financial products, the new branch manager Joseph Wainaina said.
He explains that the bank would be offering a MasterCard multicurrency prepaid platinum card with three different currency wallets in one card – US Dollars, Sterling Pounds and Euros.
He however rushed to add that plans are underway to open more branches in the region.
“The bank offers a whole range of commercial banking products and services including personal and business transaction accounts, secured overdraft and loan facilities, asset financing, home loans and mortgages, construction & project loans, guarantees and letters of credit and credit card products,” he indicated.
The bank has a network of branches in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret, Nakuru, Malindi and Kisii as well as in East African countries like Tanzania and Rwanda.
Wainaina further highlighted that the banks new branch has brisk transfers for quick remittance in foreign currency between the branches in Kenya and their sister banks in Rwanda and Tanzania.
I&M Bank have been in existence since 1974 and converted to a commercial bank in 1996.
