ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda has assured Kenyans that the court is committed to seeing justice served for the victims of the 2007 /2008 post poll skirmishes.
Addressing IDPs at the New Cannan Pipeline Camp in pipeline Nakuru after a brief tour, Bensouda said she had decided to visit the country as part of her evidence gathering mission to add on to what her predecessor had collected.
She said that her team has been on the ground, adding that no one is immune to the ICC prosecution regardless of his/her status in society.
She said that the ICC would ensure that the greatest perpetrators of the skirmishes stand fair trial.
She was quick to point out that the ICC has nothing to do with the forth coming elections nor target to certain communities or individuals but all she was after was just to prevail to all who were affected in 2007/08.
