I am the right candidate for 2017 Presidency, says Wetang'ula

Bungoma - Bungoma Senator, Moses Wetang'ula has said that he is the right person to contest for Presidency against President Uhuru Kenyatta in the 2017 general elections.
Wetang’ula said he should be given CORD's presidential ticket to take the Presidency from the Jubilee government.
"I am the right person to wrestle leadership from Jubilee. I will contest for Presidency in the next elections. Western residents should support my ambition to lead this country by voting as I have the qualifications required," said Wetang'ula amid cheers from the crowd.

He was speaking during the funeral of former CID officer, Richard Katola at Navakholo sub-County where he urged residents to register as voters.
Kakamega Senator, Dr Boni Khalwale said it was time for someone from the Luhya community to take leadership of the country.
"Wetang'ula and I will offer this community the best leadership. We will lead our people towards the right direction politically and also to achieve development goals for this region," said Dr Khalwale.
