Hyena kills four people

Nairobi - Residents of Kaloleni village in Tanariver County were today shocked to find four people killed and other two injured after a hyena attacked them while asleep.
Reports from the residents said the four were attacked while sleeping in their house in the middle of the night.
St John ambulance and KWS officers said that among those rescued and rushed to the hospital were a child and a disabled person who are members of the same family.

The residents have however raised their fears that the animal might conduct another attack if KWS officers will not search and kill it.
The claimed that there has been a series of human and animal conflict a problem that has ever since not been addressed by the government.
Animals from the Tsavo East National Park have always been jumping along and destroying their farms and others eating their cattle and eating them.
The Kenya wildlife officers have launched thorough investigations and are searching of the hostile animal.
Tanariver county is located at the northern part of the Kenyan coast with majority of the dominant tribes being farmers and pastoralists.
