Here comes Blankets and Wine edition 57

Nairobi - As the month comes to a close, so does the wait for the
monthly Blankets and Wine festival.
This weekend sees the return of this epic party
celebrating all things Kenyan and leading the way in the appreciation of
talent, art, wine and networking.
This coming Sunday November 2, 2014, plays host to the 57th
edition of the Blankets and wine, which is dedicated to Artivism.

the organisers, Artivism is when Artistes support a cause and gives away the fact
that this edition will lean heavily towards art from Kenya and beyond. It will
feature a special art installation in the form of “End Forced Migration”
occupying the art hive.
The music stage will be graced by Cee L, Mayonde, Dela and
none other than Muthoni the Drummer Queen. They will be backed up by DJ sets
from some of the hottest DJ’s in Africa and the ususal writers stage, which
shows the best of written art from across Africa including spoken word.
event begins at 1pm at the Carnivore grounds with tickets going for KES 1500.
