National Soccer team Harambee Stars entered their second day in training on Tuesday at the Moi Sports centre Kasarani as they prepare to host Senegal on the 29th of February in a Qualifier to the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa.
Stars will be playing Senegal in the two legged tie, with the first leg set to be in Nairobi. The second leg will be played in Togo. Winners of the pre-qualification stage will enter the group stages.
On Tuesday, the camp at Kasarani was full as all local based players reported for camp. Only Bob Mugalia missed training as he was nursing an ankle sprain.
Harambee Stars will be looking to qualify for Africa’s premier soccer fiesta for the first time since they participated in 2004. They won a single match that year and lost two.
Coach Francis Kimanzi has called up several new players into the squad, including the little known Christian Bwamy.
Despite announcing his retirement from international football, Arnold Origi has been called to the Harambee Stars squad to face Emmanuel Adebayor and co.

Kimanzi is expected to name his final squad for the match on the 24th of February, when the foreign based players jet into the country and join camp
