Guard caught pants down with a schoolgirl

11 September 2014, 14:52 Arap Yego

Webuye - Police in Webuye, Bungoma County, are holding a 26-year-old man who was allegedly caught pants down with an underage girl Wednesday afternoon at a local guesthouse.

The man, who is a security guard in Kakamega, was arrested following a tip-off by a boda boda motorcyclist who dropped him off at the guesthouse with his date, who was in full school uniform.

The 17-year-old girl the man was caught with in a compromising situation is a Form Three student at St Mary’s Girls Sosio in Kimilili Constituency, in the same county.

It was not immediately established why the young lady was out of school when her colleagues were still going on with their studies.

Samuel Wanyonyi, the Nangeno Asssistant Chief, said a boda boda motorcycle operator who took the two to the guest house informed him about the incident and he in turn called police.

“I led the officers to the said guest room and we indeed found the two locked up in the room. They were bought naked,” said Wanyonyi.

Webuye East OCPD, Willy Simbi, confirmed the incident and said the man will be arraigned in court once investigations are over. He warned operators of lodgings and guesthouses that they risk prosecutions, if they admit underage girls who are accompanied by men to their premises.

“We are cautioning lodging owners that they have a right of admission. We shall in the near future hold them liable too when we find out that underage girls and students are admitted at their facilities,” warned Simba.
