Nakuru - Police in Molo are holding a 62-year-old woman suspected of trafficking bhang in the area.
The woman was arrested on Sunday after police officers tracked her and found her with 285 rolls worth KES 22 000 stuffed in a vegetable luggage.
Molo police boss, Job Lesinkwa said they received information from the area chief and community policing members.
“We have been looking for this woman for so long because she has another case in court, and after the local chief informed us about her illegal business we tracked her and managed to arrest her with more than 200 bhang rolls,” said Lesinkwa.

Lesinkwa said officers have been trying to track the woman after she ran away from her farm two weeks ago following the discovery of the drug.
He said they will increase patrols to curb drug peddling.
“She will be taken to court on Monday to face charges of drug trafficking and we are also looking for her accomplices who went into hiding,” Lesinkwa said.
