Govt zero-rate sports equipment, urges Cheruiyot

The government has been urged to zero rates sport
equipments to promote talent and lure more youth into gainful employment
opportunities to reduce crime.
Addressing youths in Kuresoi constituency, area
legislator Zakayo Cheruiyot said the number of youths idling without education
was alarming inoperative that the government should move in quickly and address
the plight of youth’s languishing in poverty.
“The government needs to move in swiftly and help out the
ever increasing number of youths who are just languishing in poverty in their
homes area.” Said Zakayo.
The area MP further called upon local leaders to work
together with church leaders in order to bring together different communities
that are living in the area. Zakoyo added that the only way Kuresoi will grow
is if the residence shun away from vicious politicians who are only out seek
“Now that we are in the election year I strongly urge you
to shun away from from vicious politicians who are only want to archive their
own goals.”said Zakoyo.
Cheruiyot further urged Kuresoi residence to embrace one
another and peace as that will be the best way to avoid the repetition of
2007/08 post election violence.
