Nairobi - Governors will meet Tuesday to chart the way forward after the impeachment of their Embu counterpart Martin Wambora.
Among plans for the meeting will be to deliberate on the issues surrounding Wambora's impeachment and how to deal with such matters in future.
Governor's council chair Isaac Ruto said that they will discuss the Wambra incedent at length, adding that legal interpretation of the law will also be sought.
" We will meet Tuesday and discuss the issues at hand, including the Wambora matter at length because it is a matter that has gravely concerned us, he said.
Ruto said that they will consider seeking redress at the Supreme court and acknowledged that members are disillusioned over the whole impeachment business.
" We want clarification sought over the matter because we feel it is easy to get rid of a governor without allowing an opportunity to protect the office.
" The Wambora issue has been blown out of proportion and it is a mixture of personal vendetta laced with political interest, he added.
It is understood that the governors council will head to court to try block the gazettement and exit of Wambora.
The senate voted unanimously to have Wambora kicked out of office, over alleged graft and tendering malpractices in Embu County.
Wambora has insisted severally that his innocence lies in the fact that he does not directly handle the financial matters at the county.
