Joho to invest KES 300M in fire fighting

Mombasa County administration has set aside KES 300 million for the purchase of fire fighting equipment.
The county Governor Hassan Ali Joho said on Thursday that the county is at a low risk preparedness.
He said that his government is trying its level best to address risk unpreparedness by buying six new fire fighting engines to be distributed in different constituencies across the county.
Currently, only three constituencies including Likoni, Mvita and Changamwe have fire fighting equipment with Mvita having only two working engines.
