Governor scraps off docket after fall out with minister

Migori - Migori County Governor, Okoth Obado has done a mini reshuffle of his Cabinet leading to the scrap off some of the ministries.
The move, that the Governor said is aimed at improving efficiency in the County, saw the docket of Roads being scrapped off and its Executive member, Rtd. Major Erastus Nyamori and his Chief Officer Evans Nyakiye being sent home.
The move now reduces the number of County ministries to nine from the previous ten, and was announced by the Deputy Governor Hon. Nelson Mwita.

Mwita said this will lead to improvement in service delivery to the people of Migori County.
The changes came after the said Executive member testified against his boss earlier before the County Assembly in attempt to impeach him.
Others changes made in the reshuffle included moving Isca Oluoch from Health services to Agriculture docket, Elija Odhiambo from Water to Health services amongst others.
