Nakuru - A vicious war of words has erupted between Nakuru Governor, Kinuthia Mbugua and NACADA boss, John Muthutho after Mututho declared his intention to vie for the Nakuru governorship in 2017 general elections.
Speaking Tuesday afternoon when he received the Speaker of the National Assembly, Justin Muturi at his office, Mbugua termed Mututho as a political failure and reject.
He further told Mututho to respect the wishes of the people who rejected him during the 2013 genral elections and give him space to work.
“Some people were rejected by the electorate in 2013 and the government was even considerate and gave them a job which they have failed to do and now they think they can fool the people of this County,” said Mbugua.

“Am told they held a meeting in the park over the weekend and I wonder who they were addressing because even the flamingos took off. Instead of dealing with the alcohol menace, they are busy moving around wasting public resources,” he added.
Mbugua asked Mututho to forget about the Nakuru governorship because the people of Nakuru can never vote for a political reject.
Over the weekend, Mututho launched what he branded as the ‘king maker campaign’ in preparation for the 2017 general elections.
