Nyeri - Officials of Jubilee Alliance Party (JAP) have asked Nyeri Governor, Nderitu Gachagua to respect them and work on developing the County.
The officials led by Chairman Wambugu Nyamu claimed that Gachagua has been moving across the County saying he was appointed by State House to spearhead formation of JAP in the County.
Nyamu said Gachagua is spreading lies since he has never contributed any money in popularizing it.

“Gachagua who is the GNU party secretary General is going round in Nyeri telling people that he will personally pick leaders of JAP in the County. We have been popularizing the party locally and nationally,” said Nyamu during a press conference at White Rhino hotel Tuesday.
He added that his team has built a network of 11 600 interim officials.
“It is annoying to see the Governor who has performed dismally in service delivery being entrusted by JAP national steering committee to steer the party in this region. To this, we say no,” he said.
The party’s secretary general, Nderitu Miitei observed that Gachagua’s party has a following of about four percent in Nyeri.
