The Minister for Medical Service Prof Anyang Nyong’o has said that the government still remains fully committed on implementing an affordable pay policy among its health workers across the country.

“This policy that the government is working on to put in place will provide a clear way in dealing with the issues of wages that become a thorny issue in this sector of medical but we as the government we believe this will be a way to unify all workers,” the Minister said.

Nyong’o added that the health issues have to be addressed as a package in order to improve overall standards adding that the Ministry is in the process of strengthening interventions in  all areas such as infrastructure improvement, leadership, management of Health and Health commodity procurement.
