Nairobi - DJ Mo, one of the biggest gospel DJ’s in Kenya, and also musician Size 8’s husband was arrested by police officers along the Nairobi- Naivasha highway for allegedly refusing to give them a bribe.
officers who stopped him as he drove along the road alleged that he was
over-speeding and was driving a vehicle with tinted windows.
According to the
DJ’s account, after he refused to pay the bribe and let a police officer ride
with them to the police station, they pulled him out of the vehicle and forced
him into their Land Rover.
The DJ came out to Facebook where he
posted pictures of the events that unfolded.
" Yesterday I appreciated the
words of David in 2 Samuel 24:14 when he said it is best to fall into the hands
of the Lord because he is all merciful rather than fall into the hands of man
whose mercies run low.

" By the way, this happened along the Naivasha - Nairobi highway after I
refused to pay a bribe and allegedly driving a car with tinted windows, and when I
agreed to go to the police station, I declined the officer riding in my car
since there's no law that states that. My wife is good in taking photos".
" And I believe this has been happening to many motorists along this highway. I
think something should be done as soon as possible. That policeman in is called Thomas Oseko," he added.
Whether action will be taken is another matter entirely. Thankfully, the DJ is fine and in good health after his debacle.
