Nairobi - Garissa governor Nadhif Jama has lost his seat after the Court of Appeal ruled his election full of malpractices.
The court of appeal sitting in Nairobi ruled Wednesday that his election was filled with electoral malpractices and that an earlier ruling by the High Court upholding his election was filled with discrepancies.
Jama has had a toxy-turvy time in office since he took over with the election petition against his election adding to the woe he has received at county level over key decisions.
He has also been accused by some sections of his government of graft.
According to sources close to the governor, he is considering appealing the decision at the Supreme Court to avoid a by-election.
