Nairobi - Fuel prices have recorded a significant drop, the Energy Regulatory Commission ERC has announced.
With global barrel prices dropping by a long way, it was always going to be a significant drop in process for the Kenyan consumer and so it was proved with the drop by as much as KES 9.
Petrol prices have dropped by KES 9.13 per litre to retail at KES 92.88.
Diesel on the other hand has dropped by KES 7.50 to retail at KES 83.35.
Lastly, Kerosene drops by KES 5.78 to retail at KES 65.59.
The changes will boost consumers, who will save a few shillings especially in the continued harsh economic climate in the country.
