Flooding of Smartphones in Kenyan Market

03 April 2012, 13:02 Manu Too

The recent introduction of android powered phones in the Kenyan market has led to an increase of smartphone users. A good example is the Huawei Ideos.

It is a relatively cheap phone, but has almost all the capabilities of a high end smartphone. Though this is welcomed by Kenyans, long time mobile phone manufactures like Nokia have been greatly affected with buyers seeing android as a more reliable alternative.

Smartphones are able to do most of the tasks of a computer like emails, video calls and even online gaming. Owning a smartphone, if one is a business person can increase the effectiveness of the business is that important emails can be received instantly or important records can be stored on the phones for later reference.

Smartphones also have the ability to load full web pages, therefore can be a useful research tools for students.
Smartphones have endless possibilities earning the name 'Smart'phone. So why not get your hands on a smartphone and experience a whole new world.
