Find out how Willy Paul writes his hits

21 March 2014, 15:15 Eugene Odanga

Nairobi - The gospel artist who is currently on a two month tour of the United States of America, in what is dubbed the “You Never Know Album Tour” as today revealed how he writes his hit songs.

According to a post he made on Facebook, Willy Paul simply closes his eyes and lets the songs come to him in his dreams, in what he terms as “God's miracle” because the outcome is always better than the last.

In the post made of Facebook he said, “This is how I write my songs, I dnt use a pen or book. I just let it flow in my dreams. N thats what I call Gods miracle coz the outcome is always better.” This post was accompanied by a picture of him with his eyes shut and earphones on (below).

After releasing hits such as “Sitolia”, which got almost 1 million views on YouTube, “Kitanzi feat. Gloria Muliro”, “Mpenzi” and “LalaSalama”, one thing is clear; whatever the man is doing is working.

Therefore, if you are an artist looking for that track that will make you big in the industry, you can borrow a leaf from Wily Paul’s rather impressive track record, and try writing songs like he does. Who knows, it just might work for you too.
