Property worth thousands of shillings was razed down by a fierce inferno yesterday at Karandi trading centre, Ngarua division of Nyahururu district. The inferno which started from a local hotel before spreading to other premises rendered over 50 families homeless and also destroyed businessesResidents and affected families had to refill the Nyahururu municipal fire rapid response van with water after the tanker run out of water.Nothing was salvaged in the inferno.
