Elani deliver the goods once again

02 March 2015, 18:38 Eugene Odanga

Nairobi - Elani have made their way back into the limelight after their short hiatus with a new song called Nikupende.

The song has had the ladies in Nairobi singing along with it since its release on You Tube on Friday. It has accumulated more than 1000 views, with this number rising steadily, slowly sky rocketing the group to the top of the Nairobi charts.

They have been in an inspired form the past few years, competing with the boy band Sauti Sol for the top position in the Afro Fusion scene.

Despite their absence, some of their older jams are still being played across the world by fans and the media. This new song according to the group is all about sharing the love and spreading it, reaching out to those who have found it and those who are still looking for it.

They wrote “Here is our first single of 2015!! If you are in love, this is the song for you! If you are looking for love this may be it as well! Love is all about sharing...share the love.”
