Duale focussed as ever on Jubilee role

Nairobi - Majority leader in the National Assembly Aden Duale says that he is focused as ever on his role in the Jubilee coalition despite recent comments to the contrary.
Duale has been on the warpath in recent weeks over the current security operation in the country, which he has described as oppressive towards his people.
He had threatened to withdraw support for the Jubilee coalition in the wake of the terror operations which have targeted Kenya's large Somali community.
But after a visit to State House last week with other leaders from northern Kenya, he was convinced of his value to the coalition and the importance of the operations which are aimed at reducing terror in the country.
And in a statement of intent Sunday, Duale insisted that he is part and parcel of the Jubilee coalition and that he is looking forward to parliament's re-opening Tuesday after the Easter break.
" I'm looking forward to the re-opening of parliament on Tuesday. There have been trying times of late but those have been resolved, he said.
On his participation in the Jubilee agenda, he was adamant that he was vital to the functionality of the Jubilee coalition in government.
" I will defend the Jubilee government with as much energy as I have previously. Nothing will change, he added.
Parliament will re-open Tuesday after a week long break.
