The place has become notorious of such incidents as this is the second case in a span of one week. This is partly due to congestion in a sprouting slum that stretches to railway line. Many people are seen relaxing on the railway line as it is the only available place they can obtain fresh air away from the congested rooms.

Peter, a resident in the estate, noted that many families have encroached the place making it difficulty for the trains to navigate through.

"Children do play here; parents relax on the line and they have gone a step further to tend livestock along the railway line," he said.

He urged the government to react fast and address the issue before the deaths escalate.
