Nairobi - A plane from Somalia has crash-landed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi.
The plane developed mechanical problems whilst landing at the airport from Somalia and the Kenya Airports Authority KAA confirmed that the incident had not caused any deaths or injuries.
" This is to confirm that a flight from Mogadishu has landed safely at JKIA after developing a technical problem mid-air," the KAA said in a statement.
" The plane, a Fokker 28, landed at JKIA at approximately 13:35 hours with 47 people on board," it added.
No one was injured, it added.
The incident caused a slight delay in activities at the airport before it was cleared and normal traffic continued.
