Dogs that killed guard to be confiscated

Nairobi - Dogs that killed a guard taking care of them in Nairobi will be confiscated.
The dogs, 7 in number Sunday killed Mohammed Yusuf, a worker at Smart Logistics in Nairobi's Baba Dogo area was mauled to death by the dogs, which according to reports have bitten several of the workers there.
The owner of the dogs Bilal Daud however said that he will hand the dogs over to the Kenya Society of the Protection and Care of Animals KSPCA.
" The dogs will be taken away today. I no longer want them if they are costing lives of human beings," he said Tuesday on phone.
KSPCA said Monday that the dogs had been badly maintained thus their behaviour.
" The dogs have been kept in places which are inhumane. They are treated badly and thus their frustration built over a long time," a statement from the organization said.
